    The House Person is responsible for assisting and supporting the Supervisors and Housekeepers in meeting quality and timeliness standards.  A House Person must ensure he/she follows sourceMaster’s values. 

     

     

    Qualifications

    Qualifications and Education Requirements 

    A passion for cleanliness. Strong work ethic. 

    • Ability to learn and change behavior.  
    • Work irregular hours. 
    • Physical Requirements: 
    • Stand and walk for long periods. 
    • Climb stairs frequently.  
    • Frequent twisting, bending, stooping and reaching.  
    • Regularly lift up to 75lbs.  
    • Environmental Conditions: 
    • Odors or dust  
    • Cleaning chemicals  
    • Laundry chemicals  
    • Mental Requirements: 
    • Ability to make decisions. 
    • Planning and scheduling capabilities.  
    • Ability to read, write and do basic math.  
    • Use of long term and short-term memory.  
    • Responsible for consistently meeting quality and timeliness standards in the cleaning of resort property units.  

     

    Preferred Skills 

    Previous Houseperson, Housekeeper, Housekeeping or Janitorial experience.

    Essential Functions

    Role and Responsibilities 

    Maintain a high standard of excellence: 

    • Retrieve soiled linen and deliver clean linen. 
    • Remove trash from Housekeeper carts and/or linen closets.  
    • Assist Housekeepers, including but not limited to bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, closets, and decks.  
    • Perform preventative maintenance and deep cleaning projects.  
    • Report maintenance issues as per company procedure.  
    • Report damaged, dirty or stained carpets, wall coverings, furniture, and linens.  
    • Report missing inventory and supplies to immediate supervisor.  
    • Report lost and found items to immediate supervisor.  
    • Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of storage closets.  
    • Attend all training sessions and perform practical application of training. 
    • Ensure a safe working environment.  
    • Maintain a sense of urgency so that Housekeepers turn units on time. 
    • Personal timeliness, be prompt with all assignments. 

     

    The House Person is not limited to the mentioned job description and may be requested to do additional tasks as directed.
