    The Banquet Houseperson is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of any banquet rooms, hallways, storage and service areas. Routinely inventories and cares for banquet supplies such as linens, chairs, china, glassware, flatware and decorations.


    Qualifications and Education Requirements 

    • Previous banquet experience in set-up. 
    • Well groomed, professional appearance. 
    • Employee is frequently required to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance. 

    Preferred Skills 

    Janitorial/Hotel Houseperson experience.

    Essential Functions

    Role and Responsibilities 

    The responsibilities of the Banquet Houseman include, but are not limited to: 

    • Ensure that all banquet rooms are set properly, according to the Banquet Event Orders.  
    • Uphold the cleanliness of the entire banquet area.  
    • Move, lift, push, pull and clean equipment.  
    • Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
